Alex Gonzalez, P.A.-C began his career as a certified personal trainer at his local YMCA. He then graduated  from Sacred Heart University with a BS in Exercise Physiology. He was vice president of a local multicultural fraternity Omega Phi Kappa, whose philanthropy was to serve the inner city youth promoting continuing education. After working as a resident care associate with the memory impaired population, he attended and graduated from the  Bay Path University's Masters of Physician Assistant Studies program.


He served on the American Academy of Physician Assistants student council as the state chapter student representative. He was also a student member of Massachusetts Association of Physicians Assistants. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.


Alex joined Middlesex Cardiology in 2015, He is also a staff member of Middlesex Hospital. He provides comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care. He performs stress testing, clinical evaluation and management of both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including atherosclerosis, congestive heart failure and arrhythmias. He has trained in arrhythmia device management.
