Dr. David Gallo, graduated from the Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. After serving his residency in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital, Case Western Reserve University, he completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Gallo is Certified by the American Board with Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is a Fellow ot the American College of Cardiology (FACC).


Dr. Gallo, joined Middlesex Cardiology Associates and the Medical Staff at Middlesex Hospital in 1999. He enjoys concentration in Nuclear Cardiology and is Board Certified in this subspecialty. He is trained in echocardiography, vascular medicine and ultrasound, and champions the CHF team and Disease Management Center’s CHF programs at Middlesex Hospital. At the hospital he provides consultation, performs stress testing and performs transesphageal echocardiography.


Dr. Gallo serves on numerous committees at Middlesex Hospital and throughout the state. He is a former member of the Council for the Connecticut Chapter or the American College of Cardiology and recently was appointed as Assistant Professor at Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. He is the proud father of three daughters.

Dr Gallo provides experienced inpatient and outpatient care for acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
