Simone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College where she was an honor student. She received her physician associate certificate from Yale School of Medicine in 1976. Prior to her employment at Middlesex Cardiology, she worked as a physician assistant for the Connecticut Heart Group, P.C. and the Cardiothoracic & Vascular Group, P.C. in New Haven, CT. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants. Simone is an adjunct instructor for the Yale University Physician Associate Program and has been a lecturer in medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine. She is currently on staff as an allied health professional at Middlesex Hospital.
