Dr. Roy is a graduate of the University of Calcutta, Calcutta, India. After internships at the University of Calcutta and Middlesex Hospital, she was a resident, chief resident and special fellow at the Charleston Area Medical Center, University of West Virginia, as well as a special fellow at West Virginia University Medical Center in Morgantown. Dr. Roy is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Roy joined the staff at Middlesex Hospital in 1977 and is a senior attending physician. She became associated with Middlesex Cardiology in 1990. She is responsible for the pacemaker registry at Middlesex Cardiology and is director of the cardiac rehabilitation program at Middlesex Hospital. Dr. Roy holds an academic appointment as assistant clinical professor at the University of Connecticut.
