Dr. Lorbar received her medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She completed her residency in the Department of Internal Medicine and cardiology fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA. Dr. Lorbar is board certified in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and also in adult transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. She is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians. She is attending physician at Middlesex Hospital, where she performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization and transesophageal echocardiography. She is currently seeing patients in the Middletown, Old Saybrook and Madison offices.
